Saturday. In Office. Listening to Songs. Moderate Mood.
Feel Breathless, too much to think, too much that need to plan ahead, things get me near and force me to think. But what else more I really can do? Chatting with a friend that really make me mad, may be all impression I have to him just too playful. Why dun they understand that everyone have own hard time and commitment that unavoidable but to face it.
My laughter are good to conceal all my woes and morose. Never expect anyone to understand but just wish that no one bring me down in mood. Pls…~ :’(

Spectacles
Spectacles…sunglasses…a type of accessories for a person. There are thousand and millions type of frames and lenses. Each of different one give different style and impression to others. Myself have more then 20 pairs of spectacles since I had my first one, and now I have 4 main one that I use to change to match my grooming style each day. Of course I wish to have more. ^@^Early in morning already heard from a colleague comment about my 4 current spectacles. Never deny everyone have own impression for that person when that person with different type of spectacles. Emmm….suddenly think of impression is just the very first image that u give to others to capture in their mind. But over the time, the attitude and personality only catch people’s heart.
Is there a rule or way to enchant someone’s heart? Perhaps there is no answer for this. Every different grooming always give people different impression. I just wonder why the impression that I give to others will be totally different after they really do understand me later. May be this is where the proverb truly express in this – Don’t judge a book by its cover – New spec will be my next aim for a brand new me ….~

Expiry Cough Drops
Cough Cough Cough….~~ Flu Flu and Flu….the bacteria that haunted me the most.huh. Why I say so? Cause this always will bother me for weeks. Gosh I just hate it. oOps..Just lucky found some cough drop left in the my office drawer. Surely grab one before annoyed people around with the cough rhythm. ^@^ Hmmm….taste like…emmm…Oh no Its Expired! No wonder it tastes weird. What a careless.
Sometime when something already left behind for long, probably will be neglected. When you thought it is still the same but eventually it already change. Over the time, no one can predict what it will be deviated to; no one can ever affirm for anything. But surely expiry date did exist, and you just cant deny it.....
Everything seem to be so fragile, can everyone handle with care? *Wonder*

Confused between Dream and Reality
Early in the morning I suppose to wake up a buddy. But coincidently I had a dream that I already call her and awake her, and in dream my buddy even give me a mathematic quiz to prove that she already fully awake n wont be late for work. BUT in real actually I didn’t. When the alarm rang and I suppose to give her a morning call, but didn’t as I really feel that I done it a moment ago, so I just decided to check on my call log, and it shock me that I Did not call her at all. I was confused with dream and reality and stunt there myself.
Finally I call my buddy and ask her whether I did call her a while ago or not. The Answer is NO! Oh gosh, first time I feel that dream and reality that confound me so much.
Now I truly understand the deepest feelings of confusion. The feeling was really kill. What is right, what is wrong, I don’t know.
The confusion is due to the reality or due to own desire ? Dream reflect your true feelings? Or Dreams remind you to be honest when back to reality ?
Never deny dream always a mirror, a mirror that clearly reflect your true feelings and I just cant escape from it. Nothing last forever, but everyone can hold it tight for that moment. Appreciate and cherish all with you before it slip through your life.
Always the Deepest feelings that cant lie to yourself but to admit it. Honest to yourself and honest to others…but Can i…………

Life in Oct....Today is 30 of Oct, after 10 hours sleep feel better. Almost a month that had not enough sleep and back from a short trip-Bangkok. Extremely tire. Feel great for the short 3 days trip, at least really nothing to bother me, besides have fun still have fun. Now really understand why people always prefer to have a short break to recharge back all their energy.
Oct is a good month? Not sure, friends around mostly having some little sorrow. How about myself? Nov may be is the month that I wish to pass fast. A bit bit sentimental, a bit bit thoughtful for everything. Just wish I can do more for everyone. Wonder why every time feel so heavy for the 2 words – I Can –
Anyway…Nov is coming…..2009 coming soon ….
Here some Bangkok trip photos…looking forward for another trip …. =)

Fitness First.Kill My Bored Time here
What else can do in Singapore beside shopping and chatting around with friends ? I am here for 1year 5 months. Already start getting bored with my life here just with work, shopping and chatting with friends at café. SO finally I decided to change my lifestyle n sign up for FITNESS FIRST !
After work time I rush to meet up a friends and heading to the fitness first at amk hub for further details. Wow, if without corporate rate the joining fees is $300 + 88 (admin fees) + 140 (passport monthly fees).
I’m the unlucky one as my company not in the corporate rate list. So is that means that I have to pay for the $300 joining fees ? NO NO NO of course! The consultant get his manager out for negotiation so the joining fees is from$ 300 reduce to $100 and lastly we just need to pay for $50. Quite reasonable amount. So for the first payment will be $50(joining fees) + $88 (admin fees) + $140 ( monthly member fees).
All the facilities provided at Fitness First is really good and can meet the satisfaction for people that joining. At least for me the overall environment is friendly and fun enough being there for the workout session!
Here the link for further details regarding fitness first centre.

After a tired day moving to a new room, definitely the stomach start to protest – im hungry! Get to squeeze some time to get to online and a friend buzz to bring me for nice seafood. Of course I wont reject and bring my mum there as well.
Actually we are planning to go to the Mellben restaurant which is just opposite of the uncle leong seafood but too bad as they are renovating and will be re-opening again on the 3rd of Sept. So we decided to try at uncle leong seafood which just located opposite. What a long queue here as well. We waited for 20min.
Here the food we order that day :

Fireworks …
Such a cool event, Fireworks, I guess everyone did love fireworks, it really amazed for each and every burst that throws out the shower of sparks. This event is held yearly here in Singapore and the ticket price cost 25 dollars per person.
Details can get from www.fireworks.com.sg. This year I miss the chance to get a ticket as all already sold out. So I can only watch it from marina square but still can see clearly but just cant really listen to the music accompaniment as the fireworks are presented according to the music rhythm; anyway the power of fireworks that can touch you heart and soul are still perfectly reflected. Surely I will get a ticket earlier for the next year event : )
Fireworks are gorgeous, it brings the bright to the darkness sky,
It brings the moment of joy to the lonely soul. Unforgettable night …. :)

Cost of Living in Singapore - Experience in SG (Part 4)
Cost if Living per month in Singapore
Singapore is a best place to stay ? im curious about that even I already here for 1yr 4 months. Undeniable Singapore has it best transportation network around the island. Everyone that staying here no need to worry for transportation problem. From the most affordable bus, mrt, cab or even higher cost in getting a car also not such a burden ( beside working hours that need to pay for ERP =P ). At least for me Singapore is really a convenient country.
There are few website that are really helpful for those that wanna search for a location :
- http://www.streetdirectory.com/ – this website should not be strange for most of the people out there as this really a good one for reference getting to a place by bus or mrt.
- http://www.map.gov.sg/StreetMap/ - this website also good enough to search for a exact location.
After settle down for accomodation and able to get around with those convenient public transportation. The next will be the telecommucation services in singapore, else how to get contact around and buzz your buddy. There are few telco here that offer a competive package. There are 3 main telco here, Singtel, Mobile One (M1) and StarHub.
For those who want to get a cheaper Mobile handset definitely will go for postpaid plan that usually with 2 years contract, this allow the subcriber to pay around 60% for the handset compare to retail price. So this is the best choices for gadgets addict. If wanna go for cheaper voice call and idd, i think it will be advisable go for prepaid card, there are package that for cheaper calling and those with bundle services such as 28dollars top up that allow for 100 dollars usage. So be smart in selecting what ever plan that suite your needs !! beside this, there are broadband services as well and the most convenient is the mobile broadband type, a small devices allow you to browse anywhere and anytime with affordable monthly fees. ( myself using one postpaid line and another for prepaid line, cause im aim for cool gadgets and affordable calling rates ^@^ , and of course i get myself a mobile broadband services as well ) there are few website for those information :
www.singtel.com.sg
www.m1.com.sg
http://www.starhub.com/
After get everything with you in hand, and the next will be how much monthly expenses that cost you here ? there are few main monthly expenses as following : ( all will be estimated in average rate)
Rental – $400-$600
Phone – subcription fees ($25-$90++) + ( $usage)
Broadband – $ 20-100
Transport – 80-130 ( Mrt and Buses)
Daily Food Expenses – $10 ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) base on food court price.
This can be guide line for those that consider work in singapore. =)
MyView : Earn better and definitely SAVE better !

Rental/ Accommodations in Singapore - Experience in SG (Part 3)
Another worries about working in Singapore is accommodation! Especially now the rental are increase crazily compare to previous year. I have been working here since last year April. When I was here last year, the common room rental will just around 300 which the room condition is good and the location is very near to all amenities such as MRT, bus stop, food court, or small shopping complex. BUT today, just another 365 days, the room rental have a high jump to 500 at least for the same quality as I mentioned. Is almost 66% increase in cost!!
There are few accommodation choices for people working here:
HDB Housing and Development Board's (HDB) flat – Undeniable is the best choice for accommodation as it is the cheapest housing and the most affordable for everyone. HDB is government build flat. The pricing that I mention before is actually for this type of accommodation.
Private Condominium - Housing that designed for expats or foreigners, who usually can afford such a place. Most of them have sport facilities such as swimming pool, tennis court, gym. The rental can more then an thousand just for a room.
Service Apartment - Hotel-like accommodation and everything furnished at a very expensive rate, because it also included for kitchen as well as living room.
There are few website that are good for all above information in more details :
For HDB accomodation reference / Private Condominium :
Additional Information about HDB that are cheaper renting compare to market rate:
- Actually the foreigner in Singapore with EP pass or PR status resident are able to rent a cheaper unit from JTC under the Scheme for Housing of Foreign Talent (SHiFT). This is another options that foreigner or PR that work here in singapore. All details are shown in this website - http://www.jtc.gov.sg/products/readybuilt/housing/apt/eligibility/pages/index.aspx
Service Apartment:
http://www.findouter.com/Asia/Singapore/Travel_and_Tourism/Accommodation/Serviced_Apartments/
Other type accommodation :
MyView : The cost for accomodation are super high =_= ! is quite a burden for foreigner that work here, especially for those people like me...hard earn money that prefer to save more but end up need to allocate more for rental.

Working legally in Singapore [MOM] - Experience In SG (Part 2)
According to my previous blog about working in Singapore, the very first step is search a job online, it may be from those famous job website such as jobsdb.com.sg , jobstreet.com.sg, jobscentral.com.sg. All these are famous website that many people will browse around to get a job.
What’s next after throw in all application ? of course waiting for reply whether through call or by email. After the reply will be schedule for an interview to secure for the job. Yes! Get the offer after the interview. What a good news from the application and yet all worries will be following as well. First things that come to your mind will be –what is the proper procedure to work legally here? Is there any tricks in between employer here and urself? Here you go for the proper procedure:
Most company will ask the candidate to fill up bunch of document to apply for Employment Pass, Work Permit, or S Pass. Document that always needed is a full set of education certification and of course passport copy. It always took around 1-2weeks to get approval.
All details regarding that 3 passes can get from www.mom.gov.sg
Or more specifically for that 3 passes is as following:
http://www.mom.gov.sg/publish/momportal/en/communities/work_pass/employment_pass.html ( Employment Pass )
http://www.mom.gov.sg/publish/momportal/en/communities/work_pass/work_permit.html ( Work Permit )
http://www.mom.gov.sg/publish/momportal/en/communities/work_pass/s_pass.html ( S Pass )
Your company will submit all necessary documents to the MOM, and usually it will take 1-2 weeks time to get approval. after the approval, your company will inform you and with the approval letter you need to do a medical checkup at the appointed medical centre here.
After getting the medical report, you will need to go to the MOM office personally and collect for your Work pass, and of course there is charges for the passes upon collection, the fees charges depends to the duration apply by your company. The fees always can reimburse later from your employer.
My.View : For me, when I were here for my first job is with EP pass, mostly degree holder will get EP pass. But I do have friend that get S Pass which all these are depends to the preference of the company application. This is due to each company will have different quota for all employees passes. So, please do clarify with the company when get job offer.
MOM office location : 18 Havelock Road, Singapore 059764
Website address : http://www.mom.gov.sg/publish/momportal/en/header/contact_us.html
( The nearest MRT is at Chinatown, can alight at Chinatown MRT station and the walking distance is about 5-10min to reach the office.
* Happy working in Singapore to everyone looking forward to come here. Hows my social life experience here ? will be continue for the next blog... =)

Suneo Honekawa
- Suneo is the fox-faced rich kid who loves to flaunt his material wealth before everyone. He is often seen with Gian, serving as Gian's lackey while they bully Nobita together. This is only because Suneo avoids being suffered under the wrath of Jian's bullish trait.
- Some of the stories start with Suneo showing off some new video game or toy which evokes Nobita's envy. He has an extensive knowledge of science, and is a talented artist and designer.
- In some scenes, Suneo is seen as a narcissist who loves to stare at himself in the mirror while telling himself that he is the most handsome guy in the world. He is still a bed-wetter and needs to wear diapers when he sleeps, despite being in the fourth grade. He considers this humiliating habit his secret weakness.
- Suneo is also very self-conscious about his height, being the shortest kid in his class.

Takeshi Goda @ Gian
- Takeshi, usually known by the nickname "Gian" ,from English word "giant", is the big, strong, and quick-tempered local bully.
- He is known for his confidence in his terrible singing voice. He regularly subjects the neighborhood children to horrendous singing recitals, which is sometimes combined with his equally bad homemade dinner.
- He also frequently steals other children's toys and books under the pretext of "borrowing" them, unless the toy is damaged. This is how most fans considered Gian to be a major antagonist mostly to Nobita and his friends.
- Although he bullies the other children (mostly Nobita), he is terrified of his mother, who runs the local grocery store. He founded his own baseball team named after himself. Although Nobita is often blamed for the losses against the baseball team's rival, the "Tyranos", Gian and Suneo still force Nobita to play because they do not have enough players.
- Gian has a younger sister named Jaiko, whom he adores.
- However, he does not hesitate to help them, including Nobita when they are in real trouble, which often occurs in the movies.

Shizuka Minamoto
- Shizuka, usually called Shizu-chan, Shizu-chan or Shizuka-chan, Shizuka-chan is the smart, kind, and pretty neighborhood girl who is the object of Nobita's affections.
- She takes baths several times a day. Somehow, Nobita always seem to unintentionally walk in on her (via the Dokodemo Door) while she is still in the bathtub.
- She is also known for taking piano lessons unwillingly, which is sometimes used as an excuse for declining to hang out with Nobita.
- Her true passions are sweet potatoes and the violin, in which her playing is as atrocious as Gian's singing.
- Due to Doraemon's intervention, Shizuka will become Nobita's wife in the future timeline.

MyView: This character in doraemon story sound so sweet. Something tht this character alike with me is - i also dun like to attend piano classes since young - haha. But i cant escape also and being good daughter attend the courses till grade 8. im not talented in music and just a normal student that go through all the exam.Anyway i still feel glad to have the fate with Piano. ^@^

Nobita Nobi
- Nobita is the other major character of the series. He is a fourth grader[1] in Tokyo's Nerima Ward and an only child.
- He wears glasses, a red or yellow polo shirt with a white collar, and blue shorts.
- Nobita's character flaws are endless: he is lazy, uncoordinated, dim-witted, frail, plain-looking, unlucky, and bad at sports.
- Nobita's typical day consists of arriving late to class, scoring zeros on his exam, getting lectured by his teacher, being bullied by classmates Gian and Suneo, falling into curbside rain gutters, being chased by dogs, and getting yelled at by his mom for refusing to do his homework.
- Despite his flaws, Nobita possesses some unique talents such as his unrivaled marksmanship and ability to weave intricate string figures.
- Although Nobita is usually portrayed as being cowardly, he has often risked his life to help save others or even entire civilizations (as seen in full-length stories).
[Source amended from Wikipedia]MyView: Whats more the most impressive to me is having such a perfect buddy -Doraemon- in his life. Billions of people in the world, but only that few come across to your life. We should appreciate every buddy that we have as they are people that left footrprints in your heart and go through all good and bad times in life.

DORAEMON:
- Doraemon is the Robotic Cat sent back in time by Sewashi to aid Nobita.
- He possesses a fourth-dimensional pocket from which he can acquire various kinds of futuristic tools, gadgets, and playthings from a future department store.
- Doraemon originally had ears but they were bitten off by a robotic mouse in the 22nd century. As a result, he developed a morbid fear of mice despite being a robotic cat.
- Doraemon weighs 129.3 kg (285 lbs) and measures at 129.3 cm (4'3") tall. He is able to run at 129.3 km/h (80.3 mph) when scared and jump 129.3 m (424.2 ft) when threatened. His maximum power is 129.3 bhp.
- He is manufactured on September 3, 2112 (12/9/3), at the Matsushiba Robot Factory.
- Doraemon is considered a substandard product because many of his robotic features (ie. radar whiskers and cat-calling bell) malfunctioned after production. One can turn off Doraemon by pulling his balloon tail.
- Doraemon's favourite food is dorayaki , dorayaki a Japanese treat filled with red bean paste.
[Source Amended from Wikipedia]
MyView: The most obvious characteristic that Doraemon has for me is it fear of mise and love dorayaki much, and of course the Patience and the Never Give Up attitute that it has to Nobita impressed me a lots. =)

Always feel that the Doraemon spirit should be learned by everyone, the friendship between Doraemon and Nobita are such a tight knot for each other and it will never change over the time.
In a relationship, between couple, both individual should with the Doraemon spirit and treat each other as Nobita. Caring and Never Give Up for each other. Nowadays the relationship between individual seem so fragile no matter between friends, couple, or even family, but Doraemon stories show the bond between people and the precious moral values that already abandon nowadays.
Can the Doraemon ambassador arouse the Sincerity that already being neglected?

In March 2008, Japan's Foreign Ministry appointed Doraemon as the nation's first "anime ambassador." Ministry spokesman explained the novel decision as an attempt to help people in other countries to understand Japanese anime better and to deepen their interest in Japanese culture."The Foreign Ministry action confirms that Doraemon has come to be considered a Japanese cultural icon. In 2002, the anime character was acclaimed as an Asian Hero in a special feature survey conducted by Time Asia magazine.
A majority of Doraemon episodes are comedies with moral lessons regarding values such as honesty, perseverance, courage, family and respect for elders. (Source From Wikipedia)
MyView: Amazed with the news when I first read about that in the newspaper here in Singapore. Feel proud that my childhood anime become the Japan first anime ambassador. Doraemon anime stories always full of morality values. It is really a good story to share with everyone no matter for the kids or adult nowadays.

Doraemon is a Japanese manga series created by Fujiko F. Fujio (the pen name of Hiroshi Fujimoto) which later became an anime series and Asian franchise. The series is about a robotic cat named Doraemon, who travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a schoolboy, Nobita Nobi.

The volumes are collected in the Takaoka Central Library in Toyama, Japan, where Fujio was born. ( Source From Wikipedia )
MyView: The history of Doraemon for me is since the year of 1983 which was the year i born. Doraemon anime is part of my childhood memories that never fade away till today. The Doraemon stories influence me as who am I today.
